FSP Media Days
#MoreThanJustPictures
FSP Media Days were created in order to elevate your player's personal branding, as well as provide great content for your team's social media pages.
We've now added Mini Media Days for those younger teams that don't need all the content but still want a great experience and great photos.
Sports Media Day Photography Pricing
Professional athlete portraits. Team branding. And a picture day they’ll actually have fun at.
FSP Sports Media Days are designed for school athletic programs and travel or club teams that want more than the traditional stand-there-and-smile picture day.
We create professional sports portraits that show off each athlete’s personality while also giving teams clean, consistent images they can use throughout the season for social media, game-day graphics, player highlights, recruiting and team branding.
Choose between our Full Media Day experience or a streamlined Mini Media Day depending on the age of your athletes, size of your team and the type of images you need.
TL;DR
Short on time? Here's the skinny. You can keep scrolling for all the details:
FSP Sports Media Days are built for school, travel and youth sports teams that want professional athlete portraits without the boring picture-day feel. Full Media Days are $75/player and include multiple individual poses, two finished background options, player headshots, buddy shots, a composited team photo and all finished digital images. Mini Media Days are $55/player and include a shorter session with 3–4 planned poses, one pose of the athlete’s choice, one finished background and all digital images. Full-team participation is required for standalone Media Days, and your team will need to provide an indoor location large enough for our setup.
FULL MEDIA DAY
$75 per athlete - Full team participation is required.
Our Full Media Day is the complete FSP Sports experience and is our best option for high school teams, travel teams and programs that want a full collection of individual athlete portraits, headshots, team imagery and buddy shots.
What Media Day Looks Like
Plan for approximately 1½–2 hours with the entire team.
We start with each athlete moving through a series of pre-planned individual sports poses designed specifically for their team and sport.
Once individual photos are complete, we finish with everyone's favorite part:
Buddy Shots.
The final approximately 10-20 minutes of the session are set aside for athletes to have some fun.
Players can jump in for additional individual photos or grab teammates for buddy shots and group combinations.
Best friends. Seniors. Position groups. Teammates.
This is where they get to bring the personality.
Your Full Media Day Includes
- All finished digital images
Athletes receive their finished Media Day images digitally through a shareable team gallery. - Two finished background options: Each athlete's individual images are delivered on:
One background selected to complement the team's uniform and branding &
One clean white background
The white version gives teams an easy-to-use image for creating graphics such as schedules, player spotlights, senior recognition, game-day posts and other team media.
- Individual 1:1 player headshot on white
Each athlete also receives a clean square headshot that works beautifully for team websites, rosters, player graphics, recruiting profiles and social media. - Buddy shots
The Full Media Day includes our buddy-shot portion at the end of the session so athletes can take photos with teammates and friends. - Composited team photo
Instead of relying on one giant group photo where somebody inevitably blinks, each athlete is photographed individually and combined into a professionally designed team image. - Coach headshots
1:1 coach headshots can also be photographed upon request. - Personal-use image license
Digital image purchases include a personal-use license provided by email.
Images may be used and printed for personal purposes according to the terms of the FSP Sports usage license. Commercial use requires separate permission or licensing. More detailed information HERE.

How Do We Book an FSP Sports Media Day?
We've made the process pretty simple.
1. Your Team Chooses a Media Day
The coach, team manager or other point of contact reaches out to FSP Sports to select the Media Day option and coordinate a date.
2. Send Us Your Team Roster
Once the team decides to book, we'll need a current player roster so we can prepare for the session.
3. Parents Receive the Registration & Payment Link
FSP Sports will provide the team's point of contact with a registration link to share with families.
Parents will use that form to submit their athlete's information and complete payment.
4. Registration Closes Before Media Day
Unless other arrangements have been made with FSP Sports, payments must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled Media Day.
This gives us time to finalize the roster and prepare the photography workflow before we arrive.
5. Show Up Ready for Media Day
We'll direct the athletes through the poses.
They don't need to know what to do.
That's our job.
They just need to show up ready to have some fun.
EXTRA INFO
What Kind of Space Do We Need?
FSP Sports Media Days are photographed indoors so we can maintain consistent lighting and image quality throughout the entire team.
Your team is responsible for providing the indoor location, although we can definitely help suggest locations.
As a general rule, we need a space no smaller than a typical batting cage so there is enough room for our photography equipment, the athlete and the posing area.
Gyms, indoor athletic facilities, batting cages and similar open spaces are usually great options.
Not sure whether your location will work?
Send us a photo or the approximate dimensions and we'll help you figure it out before Media Day.
What Are Media Day Photos Used For?
FSP Sports Media Day images are created with today's athletes and teams in mind.
Depending on your package and image usage license, these images are great for:
- Athlete social media
- Team social media
- Game-day graphics
- Player spotlights
- Team schedules
- Senior recognition
- Recruiting profiles
- Athlete announcements
- Team websites and rosters
- Personal prints and keepsakes
For older athletes especially, professional sports portraits can become part of the content they use to build their athlete brand and recruiting presence throughout the season.
